In fulfilling our social responsibility in our community the Falcons football club in collaboration with it Friends from Holland hereby invite all football teams in Gunjur (seniors and juniors) to a great football material presentation at the village football arena (Nyamina) from 4:00 pm prompt. Materials worth more than one hundred and fifty thousand Dalasis will be distributed among all teams in the village and some few teams around us such as Nyofelleh who need some kind of support.
We did not know what exactly is to be given to each individual teams at the moment but at least all teams seniors or juniors will go home with minimum of two footballs.some teams will go home with a set of football jersey, training materials such as cones, markers, skippers and lots more. The reason why we are not specific on the materials to be given to each team is that the materials are packed in more than one hundred and fifty boxes and they will be properly check at the field before the presentation.
On the program , there will be a good preparation at the field with fully energized an a proper public addressing system. We will play a friendly test match against a team from Sanyang village (Blackstar). They will be presented with a set of jersey and some balls for their participation. For those of you who would like to know where all this come from is that one of our team mate (Sulayman Sanneh) got some philanthropist friends from Holland who are ready and prepared to support communities in The Gambia.
A similar program happened last year but at a smaller scale than this one but it is as a result of that this one happens and we are expecting more good to come. We really appreciated what Sulayman did as he could close his arms on this and share it the way he likes. The idea of extending it to the entire village and its environs is a gesture worth recommending. on behalf of the entire membership of the team and the sponsor whose name will be mention on our program tomorrow I thank everyone of you.
